Passover Gluten-Free Style

Finding gluten-free substitutes for Passover has been a challenge until this year. Companies  such as Streit, Manichewitz, Kedem and Yehuda have expanded their gluten-free line, making it easy to find products such as matzo products, cake meal, gefilte fish, egg noodles and matzo ball and soup mix. 

The ingredients are not the best nutritionally but the emotional satisfaction of having traditional products during the holiday's may be worth the it. 

Below is a list of gluten-free Passover products that I found at Whole Foods and Gelson's Markets. I have ingredients listed when possible.

 

Yehuda GF Cake Meal

INGREDIENTS: TAPIOCA STARCH, WATER, POTATO     STARCH, POTATO FLOUR, EXPELLER PRESSED PALM OIL,

NATURAL VINEGAR, HONEY, EGG YOLKS, SALT.

CONTAINS EGGS.

 

Yehuda GF Matzo Meal

INGREDIENTS: TAPIOCA STARCH, WATER, POTATO STARCH, POTATO FLOUR, EXPELLER PRESSED PALM OIL, NATURAL VINEGAR, HONEY, EGG YOLKS, SALT.

Yehuda GF Matzo Farfel

INGREDIENTS: TAPIOCA STARCH, WATER, POTATO STARCH, POTATO FLOUR, EXPELLER PRESSED PALM OIL, NATURAL VINEGAR, HONEY, EGG YOLKS, SALT.
