"Coming from a girl that wasn't buying the hype of living a gluten free lifestyle, this book is easy to read, concise and helps you to realize that gluten is in the most unusual places. I started walking down the gluten free road under my doctor's order with a great deal of trepidation. I needed a book that "hold my hand" without making me feel as if I was going to sacrifice a tasteful diet. For all of you that are begrudgingly on the gluten free journey, this really is the go to book for you to read, keep and share."

"Thank you so much for publishing this great handbook!!! I had no idea that gluten was hiding in so many of my everyday personal care products! No wonder I continued to have symptoms after eliminating gluten from my diet…. it was in my lotion and and my shampoo that I used daily. Your ingredient list was extremely helpful and will be used to review ingredient statements every time I buy any new personal care products. I just ordered your newly published book "Gluten-Free Living 101: A Step By Step Guide to Living Gluten Free"….Can't wait to read it!"

Good fences make good neighbors????  Not if Marian is your neighbor!  :)  Gluten free coaches make good neighbors, as I found out last summer!

I'd just come back from a disappointing doctor's appointment with my toddler son, in which we'd learned he had a significant Candida (yeast) issue.  I was discouraged as the naturopath suggested we place him on prescription medication right away (it was antibiotics that created the issue to begin with!).

Fortunately, I ran into Marian that night, and she had some other ideas for me.  Since we were already gluten free, she mentioned two other diets - GAPS and SCD, which had the potential to help heal my little one's gut.  Over the next few months (in fact, still!) she lent me cookbooks, shared her own recipes, passed along good internet sites, and was a shoulder to lean on (and a person to borrow a pan from!) when I was up late at night, cooking for my son.

Our journey to health for our family continues, as we now purchase nearly exclusively organic food, and eat no dairy, soy, grains, refined sugar, and in general, avoid processed foods.  Marian, I am grateful to have had your support and knowledge on this journey --- the resources you've shared have been invaluable!!!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Marian is a highly educated and professional, in the gluten free arena.  She has a thorough, researched answer for all questions.  If she does not have an immediate answer she joyfully finds it!   She has been a dear friend and inspiration to me through my walk into the gluten free world.  Marian is an amazing woman and has truly found her "niche" in her life purpose!   By Kelly
